King Louis the 14th

Louis the 14th, Sun King of France (1638-1715) suffered from anal fistula and was cured by a series of surgical operations (no anesthesia).

His surgeon was rewarded with a noble title, a palace and great wealth. (probably the highest fee paid to a surgeon for his services).
